About Acts
ACTS CPC is a multicultural Christian church community based in Memphis, Tennessee. We worship in English and Korean, and embrace people from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Our community includes people who worship in person and online. We focus on faith, prayer, Scripture, hospitality, and discipleship.
Things might look a little different around here. Each year we celebrate traditional Asian holidays like Autumn Festival (Chuseok) and Lunar New Year (Seollal) alongside American holidays like Thanksgiving - each culture embraces the beauty of the others

Senior Pastor
Rev. Daniel Youn
Our founding Pastor, Daniel Youn, is a passionate teacher and preacher leading 8 services in Korean each week. He anchors Acts with devout prayer and devotion to the Lord and the faith family.
Daniel Youn has served in pastoral ministry for more than three decades, leading through preaching, teaching, discipleship, counseling, and community outreach.
He has served as Senior Pastor of Acts Korean Presbyterian Church of Memphis since 2011. Previously, he served at First Korean Presbyterian Church of Memphis and led YongJong Methodist Church in South Korea.
Pastor Youn holds degrees from Hyubsung Theological University and Asia Theological Seminary. His desire is to help people grow in faith, experience God’s love, and serve their communities.
Jinnie Choi

Jinnie Choi has been passionately serving Acts for over five years. She was born and raised in South Korea and encountered Jesus at age 12. From childhood, she found joy in walking with God and sharing the gospel.
After receiving missionary training in college, God gave her a vision to serve abroad. She later lived in Egypt for four years, witnessing God at work in Muslim communities. Her background includes serving in Human Resources and entrepreneurship.
Jinnie now lives in the United States with her husband and three children. She is deeply committed to helping churches nurture children, youth, and adults in faith.

Student & Community Pastor
Rev. Natalie Monkhouse
Pastor Natalie Monkhouse is a Christ-centered ministry leader with more than 20 years of experience in pastoral care, Christian education, community outreach, and nonprofit leadership.
She currently serves at Acts Presbyterian Church and leads Ana-Genesis, as Executive and Creative Director, creating Bible-based curriculum and programs for churches and families.
Her background also includes operations, entrepreneurship, refugee resettlement, youth outreach, and event leadership.
Natalie holds a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary and is devoted to helping people grow as disciples, strengthening communities, and sharing the gospel with compassion and creativity.
